As seen in the video, to replace the auxiliary belt on an Alfa 159, you need to be fairly experienced and have all the necessary tools for timing and disassembly. First, remove the belt cover and position the toothed wheel of the camshaft in the specified position. Do the same with the crankshaft pulley. Bring the crankshaft to the top dead centre, and to do this, use the locking tool as shown in the video. Once the timing is complete, you can proceed to remove the auxiliary belt. All worn components should also be replaced.
