How to Remove the Starter Motor from an Alfa Romeo 159?

Before you can begin, open the bonnet of your Alfa Romeo 159. Start by removing the hoses and collectors located above the starter motor by unscrewing the relevant fixing bolts. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the starter motor to its housing.

This will free the starter motor itself. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector that powers the starter motor.

Once this step is completed, you can extract the starter motor from the engine bay of your Alfa Romeo 159, completing the removal.
