How to open the blocked fuel tank door in the Alfa Romeo GT?

In the Alfa Romeo GT, it may happen that the fuel tank door gets stuck, for example due to a malfunction of the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, it is still possible to perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, open the trunk lid, then locate the red cord on the right side wall. If it does not seem to be present, remove the side panel. Then grab the cord and pull it towards the rear of the car, in order to unlock the door lock.
