Unlike many cars, the Audi A6 model C8 places its battery inside the trunk, specifically on the side. To access the battery in case of malfunction or to jump start the car because it's dead, we need to open the trunk, remove the side carpet, then move the cover aside and check the connectors and charge using a tester.

The replacement is not difficult, as you just need to disconnect the pole terminals, negative first and then positive. Installing the new battery follows the steps in reverse.
