How to replace the battery of the Audi A6

The battery of the Audi A6 is located inside the trunk next to the spare tire. To replace it if necessary, we need to open the trunk and remove the lower carpet to access the battery compartment. We remove the cover and unscrew the bolt that secures the battery to the bracket. We disconnect the negative terminal and then the positive terminal to extract the battery. We install the new battery, connect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal; we screw the nut onto the bracket and close the cover of the compartment. We put the carpet back in place and test the battery's functionality by starting the vehicle.
