You can replace the exhaust on an Audi A3 by lifting the car using a ramp to access the components underneath the chassis. First, free the entire exhaust pipe from the bolts securing it to the appropriate supports. Then, begin by disconnecting the exhaust manifold from the rear of the engine; proceed by removing the catalytic converters and silencers, thus removing the initial part of the exhaust pipe and the corresponding tailpipe. You can now insert all the new components of the exhaust system and check their operation.
