How do you open the flap on the A3? We disassemble the plastics of the covering in the luggage compartment to access the back of the flap. We open the tailgate of the luggage compartment, we remove the plastic coating at the top where the fuel flap is. We arrive at the motor for opening the fuel flap: we grab the plastic rod of the motor and pull it to release the lock (if present on the model). We disassemble the fuel flap lock with attached screws. After removing the damaged lock we are going to replace it with a new one of the same type.
