Replacement of Engine Mounts

Model: Audi 80 B4 - Years 1991-1995
Part: Engine mount

To access the mount to be replaced, remove the air box after deactivating the ECU. Remove the nuts from the front wheel and lift the vehicle, securing it. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Install an appropriate support under the engine to prevent movement during the removal of the mounts. Remove the plastic underbody protection and locate the mounts. Begin by unscrewing the four nuts that secure the mount and the fixing nuts of the vibrostop using a ratchet and a spanner. Once the faulty part is removed, position the new replacement and screw in the previously removed bolts. For a more effective job, it is advisable to lubricate them before installation.
