Replacing Car Suspensions

Model: Audi Tt 8N, MK 1 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Suspension system

Suspensions are one of the main components of a car's safety and require periodic checks to determine if they need replacement. Their primary purpose is to keep the vehicle on the road and maintain contact between the tires and the surface. A person with good experience and skill can also proceed with their replacement independently, without going to a trusted mechanic or tire shop. It is necessary to compress the springs before opening the spring/shock absorber compartment. This operation requires attention as well as the proper equipment. Tighten the mounting bolts to the correct torque; too tight could damage the components, while too loose could cause them to loosen and create handling issues.
