How to Replace the Third Brake Light on an Audi TT

Before you begin, open the trunk of your Audi TT. Using a flathead screwdriver, pry off the lock cover of the trunk. Next, remove the screws securing the trunk panel, then take off the panel itself. This will give you access to the screws holding the third brake light. Disconnect the connector, then unscrew and remove the screws mentioned earlier to free the third brake light. At this point, you can unclip and remove the third brake light, completing the disassembly. To install the new third brake light and close the trunk, simply follow this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
