This guide provides the main instructions on how to remove and replace the diesel particulate filter from the Audi A6 3.0 TDI, as well as the 2.7 TDI; remember that this filter is removed for replacement and cannot be removed otherwise. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the bolts from the exhaust manifold brackets; once removed, cut the blocked particulate filter and replace it with the new one using a welding process. Finally, reinstall the manifold and the exhaust, following the video tutorial to the end!
