Replacing the Air Conditioning Compressor

Model: Audi A6 MK 3, C6 - Years 2004-2012
Part: Air conditioning

To perform this repair, it is recommended to go to an automotive shop that has the proper equipment to recover the refrigerant before disassembly, and that can flush the system after installing the new compressor, then create a vacuum and recharge it, also replacing the compressor oil. In any case, to remove the air conditioning compressor, lift the vehicle on appropriate jack stands: the compressor is located just behind the lower part of the bumper, near the oil pan; then loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt to free the pulleys, disconnect the connectors (including the one connected to the oil pan to remove the compressor without obstruction) and the hoses, then proceed to remove the mounting bolts of the compressor itself. Next, reverse the process for installing the new compressor, first securing the hoses, then mounting it in its place and reconnecting the connectors and belt.

How to Remove the Engine Oil Filter of the Peugeot 308

How do you remove the engine oil filter of the Peugeot 308? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located (engine compartment under the ventilation pipe). Drain the used oil from under the engine sump. Remove the worn oil filter and position a new one, ensuring it adheres well around the walls of the housing. Finally, refit the ventilation pipe and top up the engine oil. Close the front bonnet last.
