How to replace the steering heads on Audi A4 B6.

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Tie rods

In this video tutorial, we can see how to replace the steering heads on an Audi A4 B6 by following some simple steps: the first thing to do is to lift the front of the vehicle with a hydraulic lift and then place support stands under the vehicle; using a 17mm socket wrench, loosen the nuts on the front wheel rim. Lift the vehicle and completely unscrew the nuts on the rim, then remove the wheel; clean the fastening element that connects the steering heads to the ball joint with a wire brush and WD-40 spray. At this point, using a 13mm ratchet wrench, we must unscrew the attachment nut of the stem to the ball joint. Using a chisel and a hammer, remove the fixing bolts. Take precise measurements of the position of the ball joint, which can be done using a caliper. Using an 18mm socket wrench, loosen the lock nut of the tie rod end to the bar; using an adjustable wrench, unscrew the tie rod end of the steering bar. Now, we can screw in a new steering head.
