How to remove the steering wheel of an Audi A4? Before disassembling the car steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment. Let's see how to disassemble the piece: remove the inspection caps on the rear part of the steering wheel (if present), then unscrew the tightening screws of the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is present) with the screwdriver. Once the airbag (driver's side) has been released, disconnect the power supply terminals and extract it from the steering wheel. We unscrew the central locking pin and remove the steering wheel from the steering rod.
