How to Remove the Steering Wheel on Audi A4

How do you remove the steering wheel from an Audi A4? Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Here’s how to proceed with the disassembly: remove the inspection plugs at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is located). Once the airbag (driver side) is detached, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the central securing bolt and pull the steering wheel off the steering column.
