How to remove the steering wheel airbag of the 2014 Audi A4

Today we will explain how to remove the steering wheel airbag on a 2017 Audi A4 independently. To perform this operation, it is necessary to rotate the steering wheel by 180° and insert a flat-head screwdriver into the lower side hole. Using the screwdriver, we operate the internal tab to remove the central body; with the help of the screwdriver, we disconnect the connector from the airbag in order to deactivate it and remove it. These steps can also be done on 2017 Audi A5 and Q5 vehicles. Before removing the airbag, it is necessary to disconnect the vehicle's battery.
