This procedure explains how to reset the Engine Control Unit (ECU). To do this, the car must remain off for several hours. Then, disconnect the positive and negative terminals of the battery.

After 10 hours, reconnect the positive connector to the corresponding terminal of the car battery. Open the hood and secure it, remove the protective plastic from the cable, reconnect it to the battery, ensuring to tighten the nut firmly with a wrench, cover the battery with its protection, and close the hood.

At this point, the control unit should be reset.
