This procedure explains how to reset the engine control unit ECU. To do this, the machine must remain off for quite a few hours. It will then be necessary to disconnect the positive and negative poles of the battery. After 10 hours we can then proceed to reconnect the positive connector to the relative pole of the car battery. We reopen the hood putting it in safety, remove the protective plastic from the cable, reconnect it to the battery taking care to tighten the nut firmly with the wrench, then cover the battery with its protection and close the hood. At this point our control unit should finally be reset.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
