How to Replace the ECU in an Audi A4?

The ECU in the Audi A4 is located inside the engine compartment: it is positioned at the top, just below the windshield on the driver's side. To access it, open the hood and then loosen the protective panel.

This will allow you to free the ECU from its mounting screws and disconnect it from its power cables: at this point, connect the new ECU to the cables and secure it in its place, covering everything with the panel and ensuring that everything is functioning.
