Where is the Engine Control Unit Located in the Audi A4?

As shown, the ECU is positioned inside the engine compartment, beneath the cover located right in front of the windshield, on the driver's side. To access and then remove it, first ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then open the hood and remove the indicated bolts using a 13mm wrench. Next, remove the cover, disconnect the connectors, unscrew the mounting bolts, and extract the ECU from its housing.
