Removal and Replacement of the Mass Air Flow Sensor

First, open the hood of the engine compartment. Remove a section of the air duct located at the top left of the engine compartment.

Below, you will find the mass air flow sensor. To remove it, first disconnect the electrical connector and the air transport hose by removing the clamp that holds it in place.

Now you can unscrew the two screws that hold the sensor in its housing and remove it. To install the new sensor, repeat the same steps shown in the images, following the reverse procedure. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on an Audi A4.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
