Audi A4 - Video tutorial

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Engine
Operation: Mass Air Flow Sensor Removal and Replacement

First of all open the hood of the engine compartment. Remove a piece of the air duct located to the top left of the engine compartment. Below, we find the mass airflow sensor. To disassemble it, we first disconnect the power supply and the air transport hose by removing the clamp that holds it in place. Now we can unscrew the two screws that hold the sensor in its housing and remove it. To mount the new sensor in position it is necessary to repeat the same operations seen in the images, obviously following the opposite procedure. The maintenance operation that is performed in the images is carried out on an Audi A4.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
