Once the front hood has been opened, intercept the engine air filter box and unscrew the fixing screws of the cover to be able to lift it and extract the old filter (to facilitate this operation, it is advisable to disconnect the intake sleeve where it is the mass flow meter applied); once the old filter has been removed, clean the filter box from any residual dirt, avoiding that residues can end up in the suction duct: using a vacuum cleaner is an excellent solution. Then insert the new filter making sure the gaskets adhere perfectly and replace the cover.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
