How to Replace the Engine Air Filter in an Audi A4

To replace the engine air filter in an Audi A4, open the hood and locate the air filter box in the engine compartment, connected to the intake duct. Unscrew the screws or unclip the clips that secure the cover of the filter box. Lift the cover enough to access the filter element and remove the old filter from its seat. Clean the inside of the box with a dry cloth to eliminate dust, leaves, and other accumulated debris. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is properly seated around the entire perimeter. Reposition the cover, tighten the screws or close the retaining clips, and check that the intake duct is securely connected. Close the hood after verifying that all components are correctly installed.
