How to Change the Key/Remote Battery of a 2016 Audi A4

Replacing the key/remote battery of the Audi A4 is a fairly simple task. First, take the remote itself and extract the actual metal key (it is located inside the remote). To do this, press the two small buttons on the sides of the remote at the silver end of the key and pull to slide the key out of its slot. Now, press both buttons on the sides of the small element located in the remote, below the top part of the metal key you just removed, and pull out the battery tray. Replace the battery and reassemble everything.
