Instructions for Removing the Catalytic Converter and Flex Pipe

Model: Audi Tt 8N, MK 1 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Exhaust muffler

The failure of the flex pipe section of the exhaust system is a common issue since it is constantly subjected to the engine and chassis vibrations, not to mention the constant thermal cycles. To replace it, you need to obtain the first section of the exhaust that includes both the flex pipe and the catalytic converter. Position the vehicle on appropriate ramps to allow it to cool down. Generously lubricate the mounting bolts with penetrating spray and proceed to remove the flange attached to the exhaust manifold and the coupling clamp, making sure to disconnect the sensor connectors to complete the removal. Then, work in reverse for the installation of the new part.

How to Remove the Oil Filter on a Toyota Yaris

How to remove the oil filter on a Toyota Yaris? This is a simple operation if you follow the correct steps. Lift the car using a column lift or jack. After removing the cover panel (if present), use a socket spanner to unscrew the oil filter holder. Allow the oil to drain into a container for disposal. Remove the dirty and worn filter from the metal container; clean the container and insert a new filter. Screw the filter holder back into its designated housing using the appropriate spanner and lower the car once the job is complete.
