Let's see how to change the moldings strips on an Audi A3 MK3 version. You can purchase the strips on Amazon. The complete kit costs 91.75 (including delivery) and also includes the console trims. Changing the ones on the dashboard is very simple, as you just need to remove the central radio control panel and the strips are held in place by pressure, so you just need to remove them and re-insert them in their place. It's a bit more complicated for the doors, as the panels need to be disassembled. We need to remove the door panel, unscrew the three screws underneath. After that, the panel should come off with a bit of force. Disconnect the connectors, unscrew the two screws behind, and with a slight pressure, remove the strip that we intend to change. Apply the new strip. Of course, the process is the same for all four doors.
