What happens if the fuel door of an Audi A1 gets stuck and we can't refuel? No worries. Audi has thought of this possibility, and has created a mechanical emergency release. We need to open the rear hatch, and in the frame that finishes the trunk, on the right side (located behind the front passenger), we will find a very small compartment, which we must open using a small screwdriver, leveraging in the appropriate groove. Here we find a red ring, which we must pull with some force - but without tearing it, be careful - and in this way the door will open allowing us to refuel. We put the ring back in its place, close the door, and go to the body shop to repair the fuel door.
