To replace the pinion seal on the Beta Xtrainer, loosen the central nut that secures the pinion to its housing, allowing it to be removed from the corresponding end of the shaft: you will also need to remove the chain from the pinion itself to access the underlying seal. This can be extracted from its seat using a tool, allowing you to insert the new replacement part; after replacement, reinsert the pinion, reposition the chain, and secure everything with the corresponding nut.
