To replace the front shock absorber on the Beta Xtrainer, loosen the bolts securing the front wheel to the fork, allowing it to be completely removed from its housing. Next, detach the fork from the top of the steering column: this will enable you to loosen the bolts securing the shock absorbers to the fork, allowing you to open them and remove the spring from inside; this will allow you to insert the new coil springs and new shock absorbers, repositioning everything under the steering column and refitting the wheel.
