On the Beta Xtrainer, you can completely replace the rear shock absorber by loosening the screws that secure the side panels of the bike, located between the rear mudguard and the rear wheel: after these panels have been removed, you will find the shock absorber, which can be taken out of its seat by loosening the screws that fix it in place. Once the bolt at the bottom and the one at the top have been removed, you can take out the shock absorber and insert the new replacement part.
