Today we will show you how to replace the battery of the BMW R1200 RT motorcycle. We start by removing the seat, as the battery is located underneath it. Once the seat is removed, we can take off the battery cover and then disconnect the battery terminals to remove it from its housing, unscrewing the 10mm nut that secures it. We continue the replacement by inserting a new battery, first securing it and then connecting the two terminals. Finally, we put back the battery cover and the motorcycle seat, and test the battery by starting the engine.
