Today we will explain how to easily and quickly replace the heated grips on the BMW GS 1200. To replace the grips, we first need to purchase new ones; we recommend the brand "Ariete," which can be bought online or in stores. For example, to replace the grips, we will need a utility knife and an 8 mm wrench. We unscrew the cover of the grip and the brake using the wrench. Then, we take the utility knife and carefully remove the plastic without damaging the heating element. We lubricate the base and insert the new grip. We put the cover back on and start our motorcycle to test the functionality of the heating.
