On the BMW F750 GS, you can replace the air filter by unscrewing the screws that secure the seat to its housing, allowing you to remove it completely. Removing the seat will also allow access to the screws that secure the tank cover panel, which must be detached to locate the filter box: this can then be opened to remove the filter inside. At this point, insert the new replacement part and reassemble everything with the components you just removed.
