To replace the engine of the Derbi DRD 125, you need to completely remove the block from its housing by unscrewing the screws that secure it to its mounts and disconnecting all the power cables of the respective sensors. Then, proceed by unscrewing the screws that hold the cylinder, removing it completely, and also dismantling the piston contained within, removing the corresponding ring that secures it to the conrod.

By also detaching the two side casings, you will gain access to the underlying components, which can be replaced with new spare parts if necessary.
