In order to disassemble the engine of the Derbi DRD 125, you need to loosen the screws that fix the engine block to the corresponding housing in the center of the frame: once the fixing screws have been unscrewed, you can proceed by disconnecting the connectors related to the sensors and loosening the intake and exhaust manifold screws. At this point, you can proceed by loosening the screws that fix the cylinder and the cylinder head to their housing, in order to locate the piston: the latter can now be disconnected from the connecting rod in order to access the crankshaft and all internal components.
