In this video tutorial, we will see how to dismantle the sprocket and the pinion along with the chain of a BMW S 1000 RR. First, remove the cover where the pinion is housed by unscrewing the fixing screws: then remove the central bolt of the pinion and take off the chain by removing the closing link. At this point, loosen the bolt of the rear wheel so that you can slide the chain off; then remove the wheel and take off the sprocket along with the pinion. Reassemble everything by applying the reverse procedure!
