Today, you will learn how to perform a routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on a BMW K1200 S. First, warm up the engine for a few minutes; then, position the centre stand and unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine. Use a socket spanner to let all the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes. Next, remove the oil filter located right next to the sump; replace it with a new one, remembering to screw it in by hand. Finally, fill the engine with oil!
