How to remove the instrument cluster on the BMW R1100 RT

Let's see in this video the steps that will allow us to remove the instrument panel, then the speedometer and the tachometer, on a BMW R1100 RT motorcycle. Let's start by removing the side mirrors, pushing them forward; then we remove the bulbs of the arrows that we find inside. At this point we unscrew the fixing screws that we find on the sides of the instrument panel, using a torx screwdriver; now let's remove all the plastic bulkhead. We just have to unscrew the screws of the instrument panel to remove it, disconnecting all the electrical connectors on the back!

How do you reset the Service warning light on the Aprilia Shiver 750?

In order to reset the Aprilia Shiver Service warning light, the instrument panel must be turned on, so that the menu can be accessed: by moving the controls to the right of the steering wheel, it will be possible to select the "Diagnostics" item. Then you will have to enter the code 12390 to access the Diagnostics menu: at this point, by selecting "Coupons reset" a confirmation screen will appear. By selecting "Yes" it will be possible to reset the maintenance intervals; once this operation has been completed, it will be possible to switch the ignition off and on again to check it.
