This video shows the steps to remove the instrument cluster, including the speedometer and rev counter, on a BMW R1100 RT motorcycle. Start by removing the side mirrors by pushing them forward; then remove the indicator bulbs found inside. Next, unscrew the fixing screws located on the sides of the instrument cluster using a Torx screwdriver; now remove the entire plastic panel. Finally, unscrew the screws of the instrument cluster to remove it, disconnecting all the electrical connectors on the back!
