To remove the front wheel of the BMW GS 1250, first loosen the bolts securing the caliper to the brake disc, both at the top and bottom. Once both calipers are detached, loosen the bolts at the base of the forks; at this point, loosen the nut securing the central axle and then slide it out so that the wheel can be removed. Once removed, insert a new replacement part, which must then be secured by tightening all the appropriate bolts.
