To replace the remote key battery, follow this procedure: open the key and use a finger to pry between the two plastic shells that make up the key. Remove the upper shell of the key, and underneath you will find the battery compartment. Remove the battery using a pointed object like tweezers and extract the battery from its housing. Take the new battery, which must be of type CR 2032, and insert it into its slot. Take the previously removed key shell and reposition it, applying some pressure to secure it.
