To replace the battery on the BMW GS 1200, first remove the triangular cover located on the left side of the bike. Under this cover, you will find the battery, which needs to be disconnected and freed from its cross bracket. By loosening the appropriate screws, the bracket can be removed, and by disconnecting the terminals, the battery itself can be extracted from its housing. Once the old battery is removed, insert a new replacement, securing it with its bracket and connecting it to the terminals.
