In today's video, you will see a very simple maintenance operation, namely how to remove the service battery in a BMW R850R. Start by removing the side panels; first one and then the other, unscrewing the fixing bolts; now you can extract the part in question. Proceed in the same way by removing the additional covers located below. At this point, you can remove the tank to access the battery compartment. Disconnect the terminals as usual and proceed to remove the unit. Replace it according to the manufacturer's instructions and then reassemble.
