How to replace the engine oil in the BMW R850 R?

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the engine oil in the BMW R850 R, an extremely simple and fast operation to be carried out every 12 months. First of all, we wait for the engine to be sufficiently cold, then we position a container underneath it, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using an 8mm hex key. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter with a 17mm socket wrench, and tighten both the replacement and the bolt. At this point, all that's left is to pour the new oil through the appropriate top hole.
