First, place your motorcycle on the centre stand and start using a utility knife to remove the rubber from the heated grips; once removed, clean the handlebars with suitable degreasers as shown in the video. At this point, install the new grips, lightly lubricating the inside to facilitate insertion; then check the functionality of the heated grips!
