This tutorial shows how to replace the fuel pump on the BMW R 1200 R. Before proceeding, ensure the key is not inserted for safety and that the tank is empty. Start by removing the cover behind the fork, then disconnect the two indicated hoses, remove the seat, and unscrew the bolt on the left side. Once the tank is completely separated from the frame, disconnect the fuel filter, unscrew the large outer ring of the pump, and remove it from the housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
