How to replace the fuel pump in the BMW R 1200 R?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the fuel pump in the BMW R 1200 R. Before proceeding, make sure that the key is not inserted, so that you can work safely, and that the tank is empty. We begin by removing the cover behind the fork, then disconnect the two indicated tubes, remove the saddle and unscrew the bolt on the left side. Once the tank is completely separated from the frame, we can disconnect the fuel filter, unscrew the large outer ring of the pump and remove it from the housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
