This brief video guide shows how to replace the battery in the key of a BMW GS 1200. First, press the release button on the physical remote key to remove it from its housing. Once done, remove the plastic back cover of the remote. You will immediately see the old battery that needs replacing, so replace it with a new CR2032 3V battery and then refit the remote by reversing the procedure.
