How do you replace the engine oil of the BMW K1600 GT?

In order to replace the engine oil of the BMW K1600 GT, you need to loosen the screw that secures the drain plug of the oil tank: this drain plug is located in the central lower part of the motorcycle and can be loosened by collecting all the used oil inside a properly positioned container. Once the oil has drained out, you can also remove the oil filter located on the lower right side of the motorcycle. After replacement, you can top up the oil by inserting the new oil through the vent on the right side of the motorcycle.

The disassembly procedure of the Gilera DNA 50 engine involves removing the engine from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting all the cables related to its sensors: at this point it will be possible to proceed by loosening the screws that fix the cylinder to the top of the engine block, removing the spark plug and the specific coil. At this point, the underlying piston can be detached from its connecting rod and then it will be possible to access the additional internal components; then all the new replacement parts can be inserted and the engine can be reassembled in its seat.
