To change the engine oil on the BMW G310, loosen the bolts securing the engine protection plate at the central lower area of the bike. Once these bolts are removed and the plate is detached, locate the side drain plug on the left side of the motorcycle. Unscrew it to let all the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. When the oil has fully drained, unscrew the oil filter located at the lower front of the bike, replace it with a new one, and top up through the breather on the right side of the motorcycle.
