To change the engine oil of the BMW K1600, loosen the drain plug located at the bottom centre of the bike. Once the plug is loosened, collect all the used oil in a suitably positioned container. Next, remove the oil filter from its housing on the right side of the bike. After removal, top up the oil from the breather located on the right side of the bike. Once the top-up is complete, ensure everything is functioning correctly.
