How to replace the motor oil in the BMW R1150 GS?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the motor oil in the BMW R1150 GS, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we remove the protective cover and place a container underneath it. We then locate the drain plug, unscrew it using an 8mm hex key, and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is to unscrew the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the plug, and pour in the new oil through the appropriate hole.

First of all we put the stand on our motorbike and we begin to lift the front wheel from the ground; after which we unscrew the fixing screws of the brake caliper, in order to remove it from the disc, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the central pin of the wheel, in order to remove it; then let's proceed with the replacement of the front tire, following the video tutorial to the end!
