Replacing the Rear Shock Absorber Mount

If you hear a squeaking noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, specifically from the trunk, it is likely that the shock absorber support bushing is damaged: to replace it, you need to disassemble the shock absorber itself; lift the vehicle on a lift, remove the rear wheel and the mounting bolt of the shock absorber to the rear axle; then access the trunk and remove all side coverings to reach the shock absorber support; once you reach the shock absorber support, unscrew the mounting nuts and remove it from its housing; proceed to replace the support and reinstall the shock absorber in the vehicle.

How to remove the driver's side airbag (steering wheel) on a BMW 3 Series? This operation is very simple if you follow the steps. Let's see in this guide how to proceed: insert a medium-length screwdriver into the rear slots on the steering wheel and turn until you release the clips that hold the airbag. Once the airbag is disconnected, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel.
