Buick Encore - Video tutorial
Model: Buick Encore
MK 2
- Years 2020-2024 One thing that many users complain about is the awkward position of the front head restraints which forces you to stand with your head forward, in a position that many find unnatural. Just like our youtuber, who has found a very simple way to solve the problem: slide the headrest out and put it back in backwards, i.e. putting the back on the front, in a position to rest the head. It's true, it's certainly more comfortable because more space is created in this way. But the headrests are made that way for a reason: to avoid whiplash. If there is space between your head and the headrest, in the event of a rear-end collision, your neck will move forwards/backwards violently, until you hit the headrest. If, on the other hand, your neck is attached to the headrest - and you are wearing a seat belt - your neck will hardly move, and nothing serious will happen.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
